Dr. Joseph David is fellowship trained in musculoskeletal medicine and interventional pain management. His training in physical medicine and rehabilitation offers his patients a non-operative, multi-disciplinary approach to treating a variety of painful conditions. He is proficient in fluoroscopic and ultrasound guided procedures, allowing him increased accuracy in diagnosing and treating pain. Physiatrists have expertise in creating individualized approach to painful conditions.
As a native New Yorker, he graduated from CUNY Queens College with a B.A. in Psychology and obtained his medical degree from New York College of Osteopathic Medicine. He completed his internship at Nassau University Medical Center and Residency at SUNY Downstate Medical Center in Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation. He then went on to complete fellowship training at the Center for Advanced Pain Management and Rehabilitation, affiliated with New Jersey Medical School/Rutgers University. Dr. David treats various forms of pain, musculoskeletal conditions and specializes in spinal, joint and tendon disorders.
In his free time, Dr. David enjoys sports, cooking and spending time with his family.
